2023년 6월 '증거에서 현실로 다시 함께'라는 주제로 대면 형식으로 돌아갈 수 있게 돼 흥분된다. 이러한 초록 요구가 나옴에 따라, 많은 국가들이 규제를 완화하고 있고 국제 여행이 열리고 있음에도 불구하고, 코로나19 범유행은 계속되고 있다. 이것은 우리 의회에 좋은 징조이지만, 우리는 전염병의 잠재적 영향을 설명하기 위해 프로그램에 약간의 변경을 가했다.

프레젠테이션 카테고리
프레젠테이션은 다음 두 가지 범주 중 하나로 이루어집니다.

조산사 연구결과 공유
구두 발표용 요약본, 3분 논문/연구/실천 혁신 또는 실증 연구를 제시하는 포스터를 제출할 수 있다.  이들은 연구의 간단한 배경, 목적, 윤리적 승인, 방법(데이터 수집 시 및 분석에 대한 접근 방식, 샘플링 문제 포함), 결과, 산파에게 중요한 메시지를 제공해야 한다. 진행 중인 연구에 대한 요약은 최소한 수용을 위해 고려해야 할 예비 결과를 나타내야 한다.

산파 지식 및 경험 공유
산파 지식과 경험을 공유하는 구두 발표 요약본, 포스터, 3분 논문/연구/실천 혁신 및 기술 워크숍을 제출할 수 있습니다. 이것들은 반드시 연구 기반 요약본은 아닐 수 있지만 이용 가능한 증거를 제공해야 한다. 산파 이야기와 경험, 이론적 논쟁 또는 혁신적이고 지속 가능한 산파 관행을 포함할 수 있다. 제출자는 그 관행과 조산사와의 관련성을 설명해야 한다. 프레젠테이션에는 해당되는 경우 뒷받침 증거에 대한 참조가 포함되어야 한다.

Are You Ready for the 33rd ICM Triennial Congress?
Abstract Submission is Now Open!
We are excited to return to a face-to-face format in June 2023 under the theme “Together again from evidence to reality”. As this Call for Abstracts goes out, the Covid-19 Pandemic continues although many countries are relaxing restrictions and international travel is opening. This bodes well for our Congress, but we have made some changes to the programme to account for potential impacts of the pandemic:
The scientific programme will run over three days instead of four and we have reduced the number of concurrent sessions to 10.
We have removed Symposia and Special Topic Sessions to give as many people as possible the opportunity to present within this smaller programme.
We are calling for abstracts for oral presentations, workshops, three-minute thesis sessions and posters.
Sessions will be recorded and after the Congress concludes the recorded sessions will be available ‘on demand’ for participants who are unable to attend the Congress in Bali.
Following the launch of the new ICM Professional Framework for Midwifery in 2021, we are keen to receive abstracts that relate to one or more of the ten elements of the framework:
Midwifery Philosophy
Essential Competencies for Midwifery Practice
Midwifery Education
Midwifery Regulation
Midwifery Associations
Research
Midwife-led continuity of care model of practice
Midwifery Leadership
Enabling Environment
Commitment to Gender Equality and Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion
In addition to these areas, we are of course eager for abstracts on midwifery practice, including workshops to advance practical skills. We also look forward to receiving abstracts on the Covid-19 pandemic and its impact on midwives, midwifery services and women.
We encourage you to submit your abstracts and join us in Bali in 2023. This will be the first time our global midwife community has come together since the start of the pandemic and we’re confident this Congress will be one of our most impactful, celebratory and informative events to date!
 
CATEGORIES OF PRESENTATIONS
Presentations will be in one of two categories:

Sharing midwifery research results
Abstracts for Oral Presentations, Three-minute Thesis/ Research/ Practice Innovation or Posters presenting empirical research may be submitted.  These should provide a brief background to the research; its purpose; ethical approval; method (including sampling issues, when data were collected and approach to analysis); results; key messages for midwifery. Abstracts on research-in-progress must at least indicate preliminary results to be considered for acceptance.

Sharing midwifery knowledge and experience
Abstracts for Oral Presentations, Posters, Three-minute Thesis/ Research/ Practice Innovation and Skills Workshops sharing midwifery knowledge and experience may be submitted. These may not necessarily be a research-based abstract but should provide any available evidence. They can include midwifery stories and experiences, theoretical debates or innovative/sustainable midwifery practices. Submitters should describe the practice and its relevance to midwifery. Presentations should include reference to supporting evidence if applicable.
